Effective Date: August 28, 2026
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Dinnerkind collects, uses, and protects personal information. Dinnerkind is operated by KOKI LLC.
Information We Collect
When you use Dinnerkind, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account information, support messages, subscription selections, and other information you choose to provide.
We may also collect technical and usage information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as device or browser information, IP address, login events, timestamps, and interactions with Dinnerkind.
Account and Authentication Information
Dinnerkind uses account-authentication services to allow you to create and access your account.
If you use Google sign-in, Google may provide Dinnerkind with information necessary to authenticate your account, such as your name, email address, and account identifier, subject to your Google permissions.
Payment Information
Dinnerkind uses Stripe to process subscription payments.
Your payment-card information is submitted to and processed by Stripe. Dinnerkind does not need to store your complete payment-card number.
We may receive payment-related information from Stripe such as your Stripe customer identifier, subscription plan, payment status, billing dates, and limited payment-method details.
How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide and operate Dinnerkind, create and authenticate accounts, manage subscriptions and billing, provide customer support, protect the service from fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, communicate important account or service information, and comply with legal obligations.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand and improve Dinnerkind.
Grocery List and Product Activity
Dinnerkind may store information associated with your account that is necessary to provide product functionality, including grocery-list check states, membership status, and other preferences or interactions that are part of the service.
Partner Program and Referral Attribution
Dinnerkind operates a Partner Program for creators. If you apply, we collect the information you submit in the application form, along with the date you accepted the Partner Program Terms and the version you accepted.
If you visit Dinnerkind through a Partner referral link, we may collect and process the referral slug from the link, a random pseudonymous visitor identifier, the first and last time that referral was seen, the resulting referral attribution, and — once an account or subscription is created — the related Dinnerkind user, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plus commission and payment records for the Partner.
We use this information to:
process Partner applications; operate the Partner Program; attribute referred customers to the correct Partner; calculate commissions; prevent fraud and manipulation of referrals; and maintain financial and legal records.
Referral tracking uses a first-party mechanism with a 30-day attribution window. It records only the referral information described above and is not used to build a general profile of your browsing history across other websites.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Dinnerkind and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, session management, payment functionality, and operation of the website.
If Dinnerkind later introduces advertising or non-essential analytics technologies that require additional disclosures or choices, this Privacy Policy and our consent practices will be updated as appropriate.
Service Providers
We may share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, website hosting, database and authentication services, infrastructure, email delivery, security, and customer support.
These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform their services or as otherwise permitted by law.
Stripe
Stripe processes payments and provides subscription-management functionality for Dinnerkind.
Stripe's handling of information is governed by its own privacy practices.
Google Authentication
If you choose Google sign-in, information is exchanged with Google as necessary to authenticate your account.
Google's handling of your information is governed by Google's own privacy practices.
Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, or government requests; protect the rights, safety, and security of Dinnerkind, KOKI LLC, our users, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; or enforce our agreements.
Business Transfers
If Dinnerkind or KOKI LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information associated with Dinnerkind may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and accounting records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or disclosure will never occur.
